6 Foods that Can Cause Pain and 6 that Can Alleviate it

Sage is an anti-inflammatory herb. Throat sprays containing sage provide relief from sore throat.

Cherries contain anthocyanins. These powerful antioxidants inhibit pain enzymes, as aspirin or any other NSAID does.

Green Tea is an excellent source of polyphenols which reduce free radicals in the body.

Ginger fights off pain with its anti-inflammatory properties. It is as effective as ibuprofen in relieving menstrual pain.

Salmon has omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce arthritic pain.
